This week has been all about the movies on Netflix in the United States but there are still a good few new TV highlights to cover. Here’s the best new TV series added to Netflix over the course of the last 7 days. 

As we mentioned, we saw some fantastic and big movies added this week to Netflix. With El Camino being the main headline and other titles like Fractured featuring, you’re well serviced in the movie department.


Schitt’s Creek (Season 5)

One of the biggest breakout comedies of the last two years has been Schitt’s Creek which has been getting multiple syndication deals over the past year as its popularity skyrockets.

The series comes from Canadian broadcaster CBC which saw the series blossom somewhat in part thanks to Netflix picking it up a couple of years ago.

Following a rich family who have fallen on hard times, the series is refreshing and still retains its spark five seasons later.


Rhythm + Flow (Season 1)

Netflix has made significant strides over the past year to boost its reality TV lineup but its competition productions have been lacking. It acquired Eurovision last week but now we see one of the first true Netflix Original competition series.

The three judges set out to find the next rap superstar.

New episodes will be airing weekly on Netflix from Wednesdays but the first three episodes dropped on October 10th.

Haunted (Season 2).

Speaking of reality series, one that didn’t do too well when it first released last Halloween was Haunted. The second season, however, seems to have made a big step forward in terms of its production.

The premise of the show is that we follow individuals who gave testimony of their own supernatural experiences which are then recreated.


Beyblade Burst Turbo (Season 1)

Cast: Matt Hill, Sabrina Pitre, Adrian Petriw, Zach LeBlanc

We’re really seeing Netflix’s kids output boosted recently and going into November 2019 with Disney+ looking to snap at the heels of Netflix.

Beyblade is a world-renowned brand on the same playing field of the likes of Pokemon and this series is well-regarded in the space.

We follow a novice entering the Beyblade tournament looking to earn the title of world champion.
