New on Netflix Australia This Week (October 26th)

Hello and welcome to your weekly roundup of all the new movies, TV series, documentaries and stand-ups that have arrived on Netflix in Australia throughout the week of October 20th through October 26th. It’s a relatively quiet week this week but plenty of new titles that should be added to your lists.

Our big movie pick of the week is Amy Adam’s sci-fi drama, Arrival. The movie features a slick soundtrack, writing and fantastic plot. The movie sees several alien pods arrive on Earth and Amy Adams, who plays a language expert, is bought in to help decipher what the aliens are trying to communicate. The movie also stars Jeremy Renner.

The big Netflix Original release of the week is undoubtedly Sabrina, which sees Netflix attempt to revive the Archie comic character. If you love Riverdale, you’ll definitely want to be checking this out.

Anime fans got a double dose of new titles this week and both are anime titles that are either made by or mixed with Western influences. Batman Ninja arrived this week as well as the second season of Castlevania.

If you love Adam Sandler, then you’ll want to check out his stand-up performance which was added this week. His new title is called 100% FRESH.

Finally, if you’re into documentaries then Shirkers is a must-watch. The documentary has a perfect score on RottenTomatoes and is about a student film project that was stolen by one of the actors.
